The Madison Mallards are a Summer Collegiate Baseball team part of the 16-Team Northwoods League. The Northwoods League has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other league in North America.
The Madison Mallards averaged 6,278 fans per game in 2011 and broke the Summer Collegiate League record with 213,467 fans for the season. They were named the Ballbal Digest "Ballpark Renovation of the Year" in 2011 after completing a 2.2 million dollar renovation.
